You often read about companies making it big in the financial sector. Firms that begin small and end up in a position where they can generate lots of money at the click of a button – something all of us would like to be able to do but only a few of us know how to capitalise on.
But what we don’t hear about so often are small businesses which are highly unusual and groundbreaking in their own right. The following example demonstrates just that.
Rings on Wings was developed by a friend of mine who used to work in the business of shredding documents. She was happy enough with her job – which also involved disaster recovery for clients who needed their web-sites up and running in the event of an emergency – but her real passion was and is Barn Owls.
